Since her debut, Mitski has become one of the most acclaimed voices of her generation, she is known for her strong artistic vision blending dream pop, goth folk, and indie rock.

Japanese-American Mitski is returning to Belgium. Her previous two shows at the Royal Circus sold out within hours; this is the next opportunity for Belgian audiences to experience her intense and nuanced repertoire live.

Since her debut album Lush (2012), Mitski Miyawaki has been considered one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of her generation. Her music invariably stems from a unique and recognisable vulnerability, which she effortlessly combines with layered arrangements and a distinct artistic vision. She moves freely between dream pop, goth folk and indie rock, weaving orchestral elements with synths and her characteristic emotional vocals. In this way, she manages to touch both the TikTok generation and lovers of the alternative underground scene.

Following the critically acclaimed album 'The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We' (2023), which was named one of the best albums of the year by major media outlets such as The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph, Consequence and American Songwriter, Mitski is now returning with new material. Her eighth studio album, 'Nothing's About to Happen to Me', will be released on 27 February 2026 and is preceded by the first single ‘Where's My Phone?’, which was recently released with a striking music video. The single combines introspective lyrics with a theatrical, almost gothic visual style and sets the tone for the new album: a mix of understated emotion, rich band arrangements and orchestral layers, full of typical Mitski intensity.

Mitski will perform this repertoire live at Forest National, in Brussels, along with her earlier hits and favourites from her rich career. It promises to be an evening where fans will experience the best of both worlds: familiar classics and brand new songs, performed with the depth and nuance that make Mitski so unique.
